Story

DyCareer was established with a focused purpose: to help individuals secure their dream opportunities through professionally crafted resumes. The idea for DyCareer came about when our founder, during his undergraduate years at the National University of Singapore, struggled to secure an internship. At the time, he relied on an outdated resume created years earlier during his studies at Singapore Polytechnic. Although he sent numerous applications over several weeks, he did not receive a single interview invitation. Realising that his resume might be holding him back, he put in many hours and much effort and sought external professional help to overhaul it. With a refined resume featuring a cleaner design that showcased his skills and experiences more professionally and concisely, he quickly began receiving interview calls and eventually secured an internship for the summer.

When he looked back at his original resume and the newly refined one, he realised that the updated version was exceptionally well-written and visually appealing. The process of creating a polished resume was both fulfilling and satisfying. However, recognising that most individuals only need a resume occasionally, it was difficult to consistently develop expertise in resume writing.

This realisation inspired him to start DyCareer Consultancy, where he partnered with external subject matter experts, researched best practices, and developed a deep understanding of creating impactful and professional resumes for others.Over the years, our team has progressively refined our approach through research, collaboration, and feedback, developing proven strategies for creating resumes that help candidates stand out.
